Required Minimum Prices:

There is a minimum charge of $3,000.00 Monday - Thursday, $4,000.00 Friday and Saturday, and $5,000.00 on Sunday.  These prices include the building rental fee and catering service.  It can also include invitations, cake, wedding ceremony, bar service, etc.

The building rental, which is part of your minimum amount is: Monday through Thursday - $1,595.00,  Friday and Saturday - $1,795.00 , Sunday - $2,000.00.

The building rental includes the following:

  • Use of the building and grounds from 4:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M.*

  • Choice of color overlay linens

  • Choice of centerpieces

  • Use of dance floor

  • Use of cake knife and server

  • Use of easels and tables for displays

  • Use of Grand Player Piano and/or background music system

  • Hostess and Servers

  • Use of both TV's and VCR/DVD player

* Magnolia Grove can also accommodate an early morning wedding and luncheon.  The minimum charge is $3,000.00 with a building rental fee of $1,000.00.  The use of the building and grounds is from 8:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.

Deposit:

A deposit of $500.00 is required to book Magnolia Grove for a wedding reception.  An additional $1,000.00 is due 90 days prior to your wedding day.  The deposit and any pre-payments made are nonrefundable if the date is cancelled**.  However, if the date is re-booked, there will be a partial deposit refund of $250.00.  If payment is not received 90 days prior, and a representative from Magnolia Grove is unable to contact the booking party, Magnolia Grove reserves the right to cancel and re-book the date.  Final payment is in full is due a minimum of 10 days prior to your wedding.

** If your wedding reception is cancelled, written notification of cancellation must be made by the wedding party that has paid the deposit.

Wedding Luncheons/Corporate Luncheons:

Magnolia Grove is available to host luncheons.  A $250.00 non-refundable deposit is required to book your date.  The dining room area is available for a two-hour block between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M.  The building must be vacated by 3:00 P.M., or 2:00 P.M. if there is a wedding function that same evening.  There is a minimum plate count of 75 people.  Menu choices are limited - please consult a Magnolia Grove representative for further information.  A 15% service fee and a 7.85% food sales tax will be added to all food selections.  A luncheon is a separate function and is not included in the minimum amount needed for a wedding reception.

Ceremony

Magnolia Grove is able to accommodate wedding ceremonies in the Grand Ballroom or in the Garden.  A Grand Ballroom ceremony is $350.00 with a maximum seating capacity of 125 guests.  A Garden ceremony is $495.00 with a maximum seating capacity of 175 guests.  Prices include the setup and takedown of chairs, use of music and one wedding rehearsal - as long as the wedding rehearsal is scheduled during our normal business hours.  Rehearsals scheduled after business hours carry a charge of $150.00 for two hours maximum.  Please schedule your wedding rehearsal time two to three weeks prior to your wedding.

Invitations:

Invitations, thank-you notes, napkins, etc. can be ordered through Magnolia Grove.  We have several books, with an extremely wide variety to choose from.  Appointments to order invitations must be made in advance and completed during office hours.

Cakes:

Save valuable time by ordering your cake through Magnolia Grove.  Look through our exquisite cake selections, designed by Schmidt's, and pick out your perfect cake!

Catering:

Magnolia Grove will provide all food and non-alcoholic beverages for your function.  ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE FOOD IS PERMITTED.  Please make your wedding party aware of this policy.  We offer a large variety of plate and buffet items to choose from.  Final catering selections are required two weeks in advance, with a final count and payment in full due ten days prior to the function.  A 15% service fee and a 7.85% food sales tax will be added to all food selections.

Inside and Outside Set-Up

We have 11 tables which are always set up in the dining room are for your use.  Each table seats 7, making the seating total 77.  If you wish to accommodate a larger group, additional table set up is available, carrying a charge of $25.00 per table.  We have two tables that are set up on the back porch for your guest enjoyment.  If you wish to have tables, chairs, and linens in the garden are there will be a set up charge of $25.00 per table, and $20.00 per umbrella set up per table.

Liquor Services

Magnolia Grove will provide a bar service for a charge of $600.00.  A refundable deposit of $500.00 is also required the day of the function, and will be refunded that same day provided there is no damage to the building, garden area or parking lot.  (This must be paid in the form of cash, a money order, or cashier's check.)  The ONLY alcoholic beverages allowed on the premises are champagne, white wine, and beer.  The wedding party must provide all alcoholic beverages.  Magnolia Grove will provide a bartender and glassware to serve the alcoholic beverages.  Alcohol is to be consumed only during a three hour time frame that the bridal party agree to, which must be concluded by 10:30 P.M.  Any remaining alcoholic beverages will be returned to the bridal party at the conclusion of the function.  Magnolia Grove reserves the right to refuse alcohol to anyone.  Alcohol will be served in accordance with Utah State Liquor laws and regulations.  Please ensure that you are familiar with our alcohol policies.

Magnolia Grove Policies:

  • Confetti, birdseed or rice in not permitted.  There will be a $25.00 clean up fee if used inside or outside the premises.  Rose petals and bubbles are allowed OUTSIDE ONLY.

  • Smoking is not permitted within the building, the garden are or within 25 feet of the building.

  • No outside food is permitted.  This includes the wedding party.  Please inform your wedding party of this policy. 

  • Any candle centerpiece that is brought in needs to be enclosed if it is to be lit during the function.

  • Magnolia Grove cannot assume responsibility for loss or damage to any items brought within the building, or to theft or loss in the parking lot prior to, during or after any function.

  • Paying party assumes responsibility for any objects that are damaged or removed from Magnolia Grove.

  • We encourage children to attend, however we request they stay with their parents and are not left unattended.

  • The building will be available for a wedding/function at 4:00 P.M.  (unless otherwise arranged).  The building is available for 7 hours, and must be vacated by 11:00 P.M.  Please do not bring items in prior to this.

  • Final food selections are to be made a minimum of 14 days in advance.  Your final payment is due a minimum of 10 days prior to your function.

  • Magnolia Grove will not be held liable if the building is unavailable due to fire, flood, lightning or any acts of nature unforeseen.

  • Attached price sheets for building rental, food, etc. are guaranteed once the deposit is made, and considered part of the contract.
