
Reservation Hours:
Magnolia Grove will be available to your wedding party at 8:00 am to 2:00 pm for a morning reservation and 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm for an evening reservation.
Luncheons:
Magnolia Grove is available for luncheons. A $250.00 nonrefundable deposit is required to hold your date. The dining area is available for two hours. Your luncheon must be completed and the building vacated by 3:00 pm. We can accommodate a large number of guests. A minimum plate count of 75 is required. A service fee of 15% and sales tax of 7.85% will be added. A luncheon is considered a separate function and is not included in the minimum amount of a wedding/reception.
Use of Magnolia Grove includes the following:
White linen with your choice of overlay color
Centerpieces (several to choose from)
Register desk and quill pen
Cake knife and server
Easels and tables for you to display special items
Background music and / or use of Grand player piano
Use of TV / VCR for your wedding video
Gift Basket for the bride and groom
Our professional staff of hostess and servers to assist you
Deposits, Prepayments, Cancellations
A deposit of $500.00 is required to book Magnolia Grove. An additional $1,000.00 is due 90 days prior to your wedding date. The deposit and any pre-payments are nonrefundable if the date is cancelled. Written notification must be made by the responsible party. If the date is rebooked there will a partial refund in the amount of $250.00. If payment is not received 90 days prior to the reserved date, Magnolia Grove reserves the right to cancel and rebook the date.
Magnolia Grove Policies:
Confetti, birdseed or rice in not permitted. There will be a $25.00 clean up fee if used inside or outside the premises. Rose petals and bubbles are allowed OUTSIDE ONLY.
Smoking is not permitted within the building, the garden are or within 25 feet of the building.
No outside food is permitted. This includes the wedding party. Please inform your wedding party of this policy.
Any candle centerpiece that is brought in needs to be enclosed if it is to be lit during the function.
Magnolia Grove cannot assume responsibility for loss or damage to any items brought within the building, or to theft or loss in the parking lot prior to, during or after any function.
Paying party assumes responsibility for any objects that are damaged or removed from Magnolia Grove.
We encourage children to attend, however we request they stay with their parents and are not left unattended.
The building will be available for a wedding/function at 4:00 P.M. (unless otherwise arranged). The building is available for 7 hours, and must be vacated by 11:00 P.M. Please do not bring items in prior to this.
Final food selections are to be made a minimum of 14 days in advance. Your final payment is due a minimum of 10 days prior to your function.
Magnolia Grove will not be held liable if the building is unavailable due to fire, flood, lightning or any acts of nature unforeseen.
Attached price sheets for building rental, food, etc. are guaranteed once the deposit is made, and considered part of the contract.
Liquor Services
Magnolia Grove will provide a bar service for a charge of $600.00. A refundable deposit of $500.00 is also required the day of the function, and will be refunded that same day provided there is no damage to the building, garden area or parking lot. (This must be paid in the form of cash, a money order, or cashier's check.) The ONLY alcoholic beverages allowed on the premises are champagne, white wine, and beer. The wedding party must provide all alcoholic beverages. Magnolia Grove will provide a bartender and glassware to serve the alcoholic beverages. Alcohol is to be consumed only during a three hour time frame that the bridal party agree to, which must be concluded by 10:30 P.M. Any remaining alcoholic beverages will be returned to the bridal party at the conclusion of the function. Magnolia Grove reserves the right to refuse alcohol to anyone. Alcohol will be served in accordance with Utah State Liquor laws and regulations. Please ensure that you are familiar with our alcohol policies.
